Kyle Van Dyke is principle and president of KVD+ Architecture Incorporated. He is an expert in housing design and in 1996 he was the first architect to win an Equality, Dignity and Independence award from Easter Seals and the American Institute of Architects for his design of two prototype group homes for people with special needs. In addition he is an expert in environmental & sustainable design and has practiced “green” architecture principles since the late 70’s. He also teaches special architecture studies and studios at Mercer County and Brookdale College.

Patricia Totaro is Vice President / Director of Production with KVD+. She is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology earning her BArch degree in 1989. Pat has practiced architecture in the Princeton area with several well know firms. Her diverse experience has included supportive housing, private residential, higher education, health care, religious and corporate projects.
Notable clients have included Habitat for Humanity, Princeton University, Rutgers University Marine Research Labs and Merrill Lynch. She has had the privilege of working with numerous notable architects such as Stanley Tigerman, FAIA, Michael Webb, Michael Landau, FAIA, John Clarke, FAIA, Fred Travisano, Michael Mostoller and Ron Berlin. Her work with Mosteller/Travisano Architects was included in the book New York Architects 2 published by Rizzoli.
As the Director of Production for KVD+, Pat’s responsibilities involve ensuring that design ideas are properly detailed and communicated into a clear, simple, fresh, healthy and sustainable reality for the firm’s clientele. Her attention to construction details, knowledge of design and field supervision have been a hallmark of the firm’s success.
